Representatives of environmental technology network enviMV visited during a business delegation trip the states of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil.
The aim of the trip was the development and expansion of business contacts in the areas of recycling and renewable energy.
On November 5th, 2014 a workshop was held to develop socially acceptable fees for the Brazilian waste management with 65 participants in Blumenau. During the event enviMV signed a cooperation agreement to support the education and training of Brazilian professionals for the development of a biogas and landfill center.
On November 7th, 2014 a Conference on the cooperation of the state of Rio Grande do Sul and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with 80 participants took place in Porto Alegre. This Brazilian experts provided information on current waste treatment projects. The German participants presented waste management structures and technological examples of sustainable recycling of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
The business trip participants build up a lot of new contacts with important decision-maker during the events and visits to companies, associations and government agencies.
