More than 130 participants exchanged information on recent developments in the field of renewable energies October 9th, 2014 in Szczecin. It was mainly focused on specific approaches on cooperations between entrepreneurs from Poland and the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (M-V).
Climate change and energy security are among the main global challenges facing humanity. Renewable energy, energy savings and the use of efficient technologies are key strategies to overcome these challenges. 2013 M-V was the first state in Germany, which could cover arithmetical 100% of electricity produced exclusively from renewable energies. For companies from M-V this industry is therefore of outstanding importance.
Polish experts gave an overview on the market situation, the political and legal frameworks and regional business opportunities. In addition, the German companies reported on their experience in the Polish market. At the event, important contacts were made with business partners from our neighboring country Poland.
